Refugee Resource Hub – AILA Vic Awards Nominee 2024

Delighted to have the Refugee Resource Hub included in the Community Contribution category for the Victorian Chapter of the 2024 AILA Awards!

Enlocus were engaged by project lead architects Bates Smart and Garner Davis Architects to provide pro-bono landscape architectural services for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre’s new permanent facility, in Dandenong. The Refugee Resource Hub’s landscape enables both the successful delivery of essential, place-based holistic services, and provides a tranquil and inclusive gathering place for rest, socialisation and reflection for its clients, staff and volunteers.  With connection to the ASRC’s longstanding Foodbank program, a sensory and edible garden was introduced to incorporate a functional element into the outdoor terrace space.

To enable the continued delivery of their invaluable services in empowering refugees and those seeking asylum, we encourage you to support the ASRC in any way you can.
