The principal strategy behind this design was to prioritise pedestrian movement across the site
The principal strategy behind this competition entry prioritises pedestrian movement across the site, creating architecture that is in part building envelope, and in part landscape terrain. This allows for a seamless visual experience of the building’s interior and the outdoor landscape; at the same time creating a distinct atmosphere in places for various activities. The design adheres to the City of Sydney’s “Sustainable Sydney 2020” principles, creating a green, global and connected space for the public.
