HAMPTON FORESHORE PRECINCT UPGRADES_

Hampton’s beloved coastline is a defining element of its local identity.  Enlocus have been engaged by Bayside City Council to undertake the revitalisation of Hampton Foreshore Precinct as part of Bayside’s Foreshore Management Plan, building a coastline that’s inclusive, safe and sustainable.  Along this iconic foreshore, Hampton Lifesaving Club runs the Starfish Nippers program, creating space for children and teens with disabilities to connect, grow, and have fun in the water.  Enlocus have developed a series of design interventions to promote greater participation, including accessible ramps, safer pathways, dedicated parking, alongside extensive native coastal revegetation.   The renewal of the foreshore’s well-loved playspace also forms an important component of this revitalisation.  With a strong local identity and elements reflective of its beachfront setting, the playspace will encourage exploration and connection, with additional shade and seating opportunities for parents and carers.
