The Pascoe Vale Road Glenroy streetscape identity project is a significant revitalisation of the main shopping strip in the activity centre of Glenroy. The aim of the project was to develop a palette/identity that would set the long-term strategy for identity for Glenroy activity centre, and set it apart from the surrounding street and adjacent shopping strip identity.
As part of the design, we have subverted the current thinking of WSUD (water sensitive urban design) and drainage systems, combining both into a single system that has a higher catchment capacity, increased pollutants removal and reduced maintenance.
