WILLIAM STREET PRECINCT PARKS_

Enlocus have been engaged by City of Stonnington and the community to develop designs for two new parks in William Street, South Yarra. 17 William Street is located close to South Yarra Siding Reserve and Lovers Walk. The second park will be located on the east side of William Street, occupied by 2, 2A and 4 William Street.  The designs promote opportunities for both passive and active recreation, and feature a variety of seating styles which complement existing park furniture. The paving palette draws from the surrounding context of local red brick, while native planting encourages biodiversity. The orientation of each of these spaces and location of garden beds will establish a soft buffer from the busy shared user paths and nearby rail infrastructure.
